You may also need to enable DirectX support by clicking on Help, DirectX troubleshooting.

Issue: DVD doesn't play in the clip editor window. The clip editor window displays the message "Please insert DVD into drive...".

Cause: No suitable DVD decoder was found to play the DVD. The disk you have in the drive is not a DVD.

Resolution: Install a compatible DVD Decoder. See: Recommended DVD & Mpg2 Decoders for a list of compatible DVD decoders. Try another DVD.

Issue: DVD plays on both monitors instead of just the live monitor.

Cause: Your Video Card settings are set to play the video on both monitors.

Resolution: Disable the full screen options on your Video Card. For most graphics cards, this setting is under the advanced area of your display settings.

Issue:  I can create a DVD clip but after removing the disk from the drive and inserting it again, the clips I created don't work.

Cause: The DVD region hasn't been set on the DVD drive in the computer.

Resolution: Set the DVD region for the DVD drive in the computer. See: DVD Region
